The project delves into the relationship between age, culinary preferences, and intergenerational family dynamics, drawing inspiration from the changing flavors of ripening fruits. It aims to explore how individuals' cooking habits and flavor preferences evolve over time, particularly within multigenerational households. By examining the changes in taste buds and the physical and mental transformations that accompany aging, the project seeks to understand how these factors influence interfamily relationships. Through interviews with family members and friends, the project gathered personal stories, memories, and reflections on the role of food in family life. Documentations of family meals are captured through photography to show the evolution of eating habits and flavors across generations. Through these explorations, insights are gained into the influence of food on family dynamics and the significance of intergenerational bonding in family dining experiences.
